In this respect, Rose Tarlow is a master of words and a master of rooms. Her work moves you to take action and find your style and speak your truth. One of the most influential designers in America today, Rose Tarlow's furniture, lighting, rugs and textiles are created with the same integrity and style that brought her to the forefront of design. Only the best, the strongest, the nicest will do – and only the top artisans are chosen to produce the pieces.

Here is a sampling of some wall sconces in the Rose Tarlow lighting collection. Have a bright and beautiful day!

The modernist Bubble Lamps are pleasing in shape, iconic in design, and distribute a soft even light. Just a simple steel skeleton covered with white self webbing plastic form the beautiful styles in the Bubble Lamp Collection – such as Pear, Saucer, Ball, Cigar, Apple and Lantern. The criss-cross option of the steel frame lends a special dimension to the standard, classic Bubble Lamps.

Bubble Lamps were first designed in 1947 for Howard Miller and today have been reissued by Modernica.  The George Nelson Bubble Lamp® collection is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and can also be enjoyed in the warmth and seclusion of your very own home.

Zufall Lamp by Ingo Maurer

Zufall_suspended_3

A Zufall fell into my hands,
It twists, and asks for more
Begging to illuminate
Beauty at its core

Hold the Zufall, play with it
Let it shine, awaken
Past, present and future
Maurer has foresaken

Zufall says what you allow
The curves are soft and telling
Shape and style tied as one
Designed to be compelling

Zufall_suspended_1 Since 1966, German designer Ingo Maurer has been creating original award-winning lamps. Innovative, creative, original – Maurer is always looking for new ways to exhibit light. He has been referred to as a "magician" by others in the design community.  Ingo Maurer's designs have been featured in exhibitions around the world and received awards and prizes from leading magazines, art colleges and museums.

The Zufall table and suspension lamp arrived at Ingo Maurer in the form of happenstance. Serendipity. He was working on a special table, to be part of an exhbition, and needed a silicone part to be placed between two metal plates. When Maurer saw the silicone part, he took it out and began playing with it. The soft material is pliable and can be easily shaped. Immediately Ingo Maurer knew that this was the beginning, the first breath of a new lamp design. What a marvelous lamp he begot – the Zufall.
